Another sunny day, thats 2 this year. Pitch also looking in good form. Both teams eager to start and the girls received their new coats today. First half started very attacking, lots of pressure on Burlish today, a good attack down the left from Grace, who put a quality cross in from the left which Laura turned into the back of the goal, off the side of her foot. this started a barrage of attacks and goals to see us go 8-0 up at half time. This was a shock result.
Second half and the girls all wanted to get a goal, no one wanted to come off, but a fair rotation system gave everyone an opportunity to take a break. but the goals kept coming, we had 4 players waiting for the pass to attack goal. we scored 11 in the second half, with just as many missed chances. Shannon cleared up any attacks and made the pass to start another attack.
Overall performance, excellent by everyone, another clean sheet for Leah. well done to my two strikers today for getting 10 goals between them. Unlucky Jaz, she helped create so many goals today, but couldn't quite get a goal for herself. Well done everyone.
